About Role:

Being responsible for all legal matters related to Epsilon’s operations in APAC (excluding India and China)

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for all Epsilon legal and compliance related matters. Epsilon provides the data, technology and marketing services to the world’s top brands. Epsilon helps marketers understand consumers, engage them with one harmonized voice across channels, and learn from each interaction.

Drafting, vetting, redlining and negotiating of Epsilon legal documents including Master Service Agreements, Statements Of Work, Confidentiality Agreements, Employment related agreements etc.

Negotiating client contracts and taking them to closure independently

Identifying legal, commercial, operational risks associated in each commercial contract and taking appropriate steps to resolve and mitigate the risks

Advising the agencies on risks associated with contracts and working with Data Privacy counsel to advise on data privacy related risks

Advising on, and overseeing the management of, any disputes

Responsible for proper execution of contracts and managing a database/MIS of executed contracts

Conducting and undertaking due diligence activities pertaining to contracts

Ensuring corporate compliance of legal entities laws and internal regulations, and overseeing the management of corporate matters

Key Requirements:

Lawyer from reputed Law school with 3-6 years’ experience.

Experience in marketing and/or technology is preferable.

Experience in identifying legal, commercial, operational risks associated in each commercial contract and taking appropriate steps to resolve and mitigate the risks.

Experience in negotiating client and vendor contracts and taking them to closure independently.

Ability to interact with regional team counterparts, Good Communications skills.

Attitude to work in start-up environment and willingness to walk the extra mile to streamline processes.
