We are looking for experienced legal professionals with strong expertise in European Union (EU) laws and regulations to support a legal research, analysis, and document review project.
The engagement requires professionals who can conduct high-quality legal research, analyse legislation and regulatory frameworks, verify legal citations, and prepare accurate legal documentation.
Work Commitment: 35 hours per week

Key Legal Expertise
Candidates should have strong knowledge and practical or research experience in one or more of the following areas:
- EU Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act)
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Data Protection & Privacy Law
- Cross-Border Regulation and Compliance
- EU digital and technology regulations
- Regulatory compliance and legal risk assessment
- Cross-border data transfers and international data protection
- Interpretation and application of EU legislation and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed legal research on EU laws, regulations, directives, and regulatory guidance.
- Analyse statutes, regulations, case law, and other authoritative legal sources.
- Research and interpret requirements under the EU AI Act, GDPR, data privacy, and cross-border regulations.
- Prepare and review legal documents, summaries, research notes, and regulatory analyses.
- Verify legal citations, references, and sources for accuracy and relevance.
- Identify relevant legal precedents, regulatory developments, and authoritative guidance.
- Analyse complex legal issues and provide well-supported conclusions.
- Ensure legal research and documentation are accurate, structured, and jurisdiction-specific.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professional legal research.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Licensed Attorney/Solicitor/Lawyer, JD/LL.M. graduate, Senior Legal Researcher, or experienced Paralegal.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant legal practice, legal research, drafting, compliance, or advisory experience.
- Strong expertise in EU legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the EU AI Act, GDPR, Data Privacy, and/or Cross-Border Regulation.
- Excellent legal reasoning and statutory interpretation skills.
- Strong ability to conduct independent and authoritative legal research.
- Experience with legal drafting, document review, and citation verification.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Knowledge of at least one EU local language is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
