Overview
We are seeking to hire California highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorneys with a minimum of 7 years experience in Drafting Civil Complaints, Default Judgments and Prove Ups to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in complex civil and commercial litigation. This role requires exceptional legal drafting, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively litigate complex cases. As a Senior Litigation Attorney, you will play a crucial role in representing our clients and providing legal counsel.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
Draft complaints,
Review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts;
Utilize Westlaw AI Assisted Research, Cocounsel and other legal research tools to gather relevant case law and statutes.
Prepare persuasive written arguments and briefs for submission to the court.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients’ interests.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school;
Active license to practice law in California;
Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience with a focus on civil and commercial litigation;
Strong proficiency in legal drafting and writing skills;
Familiarity with Westlaw;
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail;
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
