Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including Family Law and Probate Litigation. General ligation experience is also acceptable. This role requires excellent legal research and writing skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate and litigate cases on behalf of our clients. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services and support to our rapidly expanding client base.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring clarity and adherence to legal standards.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating for their best interests.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
Develop litigation strategies in consultation with senior attorneys to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Maintain organized case files and documentation for efficient case management.
Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar is required.
Prior litigation experience.
Strong skills in legal research and writing are essential for success in this role.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to effectively advocate for clients in various legal settings.
