A highly regarded London-based law firm is seeking a part-time Secretary to join its Banking, Governance & Corporate team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal support professional looking to join a collaborative and professional environment within a well-established City firm. The successful candidate will provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the team, ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
Diary and inbox management Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence Digital dictation and touch typing Billing and expense processing Organising meetings and travel arrangements Filing, document management and general administrative support Liaising with clients and internal departments professionally and efficiently The successful candidate will have: 3-5 years experience within a similar legal secretarial role Ideally previous exposure to Corporate, Banking or Governance teams Strong touch typing skills, ideally around 60 wpm Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills A proactive and professional approach Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Additional information:
Salary: £24,000 pro rata (£40,000 FTE) Working pattern:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Hybrid working available following probation 3 days in the office required during the initial 6-month probation period London-based role
