Parra Klein LLC, a dynamic and growing personal injury litigation firm, is seeking a motivated and dedicated entry-level Associate Attorney to join our team. Located in Elmwood Park, New Jersey our practice specializes in high-stakes personal injury and insurance litigation, advocating passionately for clients who have experienced significant harm.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload
Handle cases from intake to trial
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
Draft legal demand letters
Conduct new client intakes
Assist senior attorneys in preparing cases for trial and arbitration
Participate in depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and answer inquiries
Attend court hearings and conferences, as needed
Interface with staff to accomplish goals
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in New Jersey or awaiting bar exam results
Strong legal writing and research skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under supervision
Passion for advocating on behalf of injured individuals
