Summary:
Experienced paralegal role focused on estate and succession planning, providing comprehensive support to attorneys in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and related tax matters. The position requires expertise in legal documentation, tax filings, and court procedures.

Responsibilities:

Draft estate planning documents (Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney) using HotDocs
Prepare gift and fiduciary tax returns, including Schedules K-1
Manage trust administration: asset evaluations, inventories, distributions, and court filings
Coordinate estate administration: probate filings, asset transfers, creditor claims, and tax documentation
Support guardianship/conservatorship proceedings with necessary petitions and financial reporting
Maintain court calendars, trust/estate records, and communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and courts

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estate and trust law
Proficiency in HotDocs, Microsoft Excel, and tax software
Strong legal research, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with sound judgment and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
