** Responsibilities**:
– Maintain and ensure the accuracy of legal files, both physical and electronic, by organizing them systematically, indexing documents, and implementing
version control
procedures.
– Create, update, and manage document templates, forms, and legal databases to facilitate
efficient workflow
and retrieval of information.
– Assist in managing attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and sending out reminders.
– Arrange conference calls and video conferences, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and well-prepared for seamless
communication
.
– Professionally handle incoming calls, accurately record messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate individuals.
– Provide general administrative support, such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing documents as needed. Maintain
up-to-date
contact lists, client databases, and legal libraries to ensure accessibility and accuracy of information.
** Requirements**:
– Minimum Diploma or equivalent in a relevant field.
– Previous experience of 1-2 years as a legal secretary or in a similar role within a law firm, legal department, or related setting.
– Strong organizational skills, exceptional
attention to detail
, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal
