Position: Legal Secretary (Conveyancing)
Location: Greater London

We are partnering with a well‑regarded law firm in London seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to support their busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone organised, proactive and confident working in a fast‑paced conveyancing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing full secretarial and administrative support to conveyancing fee‑earners
  • Preparing, formatting and amending contracts, transfer documents, reports and other property‑related paperwork
  • Managing diaries, scheduling appointments and coordinating client meetings
  • Handling client enquiries professionally via phone and email
  • Opening and closing conveyancing files and maintaining accurate records
  • Audio and copy typing, including digital dictation
  • Conducting Land Registry and search‑related administrative tasks
  • Liaising with estate agents, lenders, clients and third parties
  • Assisting with billing, file management and general office administration

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a Conveyancing or Property department
  • Strong typing and document‑production skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Professional, organised and able to work independently
