About You
We’re seeking a licensed attorney who is tech-savvy, proactive, and committed to delivering excellent client service. You should be passionate about healthcare law and have a strong desire to work in a collaborative, innovative environment. This role is ideal for someone who values authenticity, efficiency, and professional development.
The Day-to-Day
Advise healthcare businesses on matters related to business and healthcare law.
Supervise paralegals and law clerks to ensure timely completion of legal projects.
Draft legal documents and contracts for clients.
Provide clients with strategic advice on transactional and pre-litigation matters to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with a dynamic team to support the firm’s vision and client success.
Work with higher-value clients such as medical doctors and nurse practitioners
Work business transactions such as buy-sell, contract drafting, healthcare legal advice and change of ownership transactions
Adhere to core values and provide entrepreneurial feedback to help improve our legal workflows as we grow!
Qualifications
Licensed attorney in Minnesota, in good standing, with at least 3 years of experience practicing law.
Located within 30 minutes of the Twin Cities.
Experience with MHCP/DHS programs and compliance.
Previous experience in business law – namely in patient paperwork, operating/shareholder agreements, employment and independent contractor law, business to business agreements, lease agreements
Previous experience in health law – namely Management Services Organizations, Corporate Practice of Medicine Doctrine, Minnesota Health Records ACT, HIPAA, medical billing or related rules
Strong ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment.
Excellent written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, and proofreading.
Tech-savvy or a quick learner with strong customer service skills.

Familiarity with advising clients in healthcare-related industries.
Interest in contributing to client acquisition efforts (optional, with bonus opportunities).
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience) + bonuses.
Benefits:
24 days PTO (including 48 hours of Minnesota ESST).
3% IRA company matching contribution.
