9am-5pm Mon-Fri office based

Based in central Bmth, where parking is heavily subsidised, you will be joining a progressive and growing practice who has been established for a long time and who have a fantastic reputation.

The successful Legal Secretary will provide support to fee earners and partners who are focused on providing a very high-quality legal service to their clients.
The role would suit someone with experience of working as a Legal Secretary within various departments.
The successful candidate will be IT literate, will be able to manage a varied workload to include secretarial assistance, answering calls, filing, typing (inc audio), document production, file and diary management and general office administration.
There is scope for the Legal Secretary to have a really
positive impact
in this team, helping also to review current processes. Although having legal secretarial experience is ideal, the key requirements for the role are:
* Experience of liaising with clients, on the phone and on email.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to self-motivate, together with the ability to work well as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.

Attention to detail
and
problem-solving skills

* An excellent understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft software packages, including the production and editing of various forms of documentation.
* Experience using
modern
document management
systems.
* Experience working as a Legal Secretary within Family Law is essential.
There is a strong team ethic within the firm and as such you must be prepared to work within a professional services environment.
Professionalism
