JUVENILE DEFENDERS office is actively hiring! We are looking for motivated, compassionate people who want to work with families of Orange County. We are appointed by the courts to represent parents in the Dependency system. We represent individuals who struggle with substance abuse, domestic violence, physical and mental health issues, distrust of government, etc. After training, attorneys are in the courtroom every day. Attorneys will gain valuable experience and enhance their trial skills. Requirements: Must have passed the California State Bar and be in good standing. The Candidate must possess strong advocacy skills and be able to negotiate with other counsel, social workers and bench officers and litigate cases. NO PRIOR COURTROOM/TRIAL EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. WE WILL TRAIN YOU!
Preferred: Dependency experience, interest in criminal law, family and children’s issues are a plus.
Salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
