We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary to join a top tier law firm in Limerick City. The successful candidate will provide essential support to solicitors and legal executives, ensuring the smooth operation of legal proceedings and day-to-day administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and format legal documents including briefs, contracts, and court forms
- Manage correspondence with clients, courts, and other solicitors
- Maintain and organise case files, both digital and paper
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and arrange meetings
- Handle client queries with professionalism and discretion
- Conduct basic legal research and compile necessary case information
- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court schedules and filing requirements
- Assist in billing and invoicing
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Confidentiality, discretion, and professional
- Legal secretarial qualification or other relevant qualification is desirable
