We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary to join a top tier law firm in Limerick City. The successful candidate will provide essential support to solicitors and legal executives, ensuring the smooth operation of legal proceedings and day-to-day administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and format legal documents including briefs, contracts, and court forms
  • Manage correspondence with clients, courts, and other solicitors
  • Maintain and organise case files, both digital and paper
  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and arrange meetings
  • Handle client queries with professionalism and discretion
  • Conduct basic legal research and compile necessary case information
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court schedules and filing requirements
  • Assist in billing and invoicing

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Confidentiality, discretion, and professional
  • Legal secretarial qualification or other relevant qualification is desirable
