Role Description
This is a full-time Discovery Paralegal role located in Salem, MA. As a Discovery Paralegal, you will be responsible for efficiently managing all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting responses to discovery requests, conducting research, and communicating with clients, staff attorneys, and opposing attorneys. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Due to the high volume of cases requiring discovery responses, this role requires exceptional time management skills, prioritization skills, and the ability to shift quickly to different tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree
At least nine months experience working in a law firm
Experience in civil litigation, particularly in the areas of personal injury protection and medical payments
Strong knowledge of Massachusetts discovery rules and procedures
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research and draft legal documents
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Fluency working with attorney case management software, and Microsoft Office and Adobe (PDF) applications
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
