Hire Resolve’s client, a leading law firm in Cape Town, is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the legal team and ensure the smooth running of the office.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with all aspects of secretarial nature and knowledge of litigation work, dealing with pleadings
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team and ensure the smooth running of the office.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings for attorneys and clients
  • Conduct legal research using online databases and other resources
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and closings
  • Requirements

  • 5 years minimum experience in law environment,
  • Relevant Degree or Diploma/ Paralegal or Similar
  • Experience in litigation work, excellent language, writing skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
