Reid and Riege, P.C., a mid-sized Connecticut law firm with a well-established Corporate / Business Services practice, seeks a self-motivated Legal Assistant with three to five years of experience to join our downtown Hartford office.

Work Location: In person

Primary Duties:

Assist with document management, drafting, proofing, and editing legal documents and
correspondence.

Opening, closing and maintaining electronic and hardcopy files.
Calendaring deadlines.
Efficiently communicate with Firm members and clients.
Assist attorneys with time entries and billing.
Assist with special assignments as requested.
Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience as a legal assistant in Corporate / Business Services practice (preferred).
Document management experience (iManage experience a plus)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Highly organized and detail-oriented
