The Role:
As a Legal Secretary, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the legal team. You’ll be the go-to for administrative support, document preparation, and client communications. This is an on-site role, offering a dynamic office environment and the chance to be part of a highly regarded legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and reports with accuracy and speed
Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and arrange travel for fee earners
Liaise professionally with clients, solicitors, and courts
Handle filing, photocopying, and document management tasks
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal protocols
Provide general administrative support across the team
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a law firm is essential
Strong typing and digital dictation skills (60+ wpm preferred)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and discretion
Familiarity with legal terminology and document formatting
