We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to provide administrative and legal support to our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing legal documentation, liaising with clients, and ensuring smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative & Clerical Support
Prepare and format legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with flawless English grammar and structure.
Manage and maintain case files, both in physical and digital formats.
Draft and proofread emails, legal reports, and meeting minutes.
Handle confidential legal information with discretion and professionalism.
Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and court hearings.
2. Legal Document Management
Assist in preparing and filing legal documents with courts and regulatory authorities.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
Maintain an organized filing system for legal records, pleadings, contracts, and agreements.
Ensure that all legal documents comply with court rules and company policies.
3. Communication & Client Liaison
Act as a point of contact between lawyers, clients, court personnel, and external agencies.
Respond to client inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
Draft client letters, legal notices, and correspondence.
Arrange for translation of legal documents when necessary.
4. Office & Case Management
Monitor court schedules, deadlines, and ensure timely submissions of legal filings.
Process and track invoices, legal fees, and office expenses.
Handle travel arrangements, itineraries, and logistics for attorneys.
Keep legal databases updated with case progress, deadlines, and notes.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Fluent in English (written and spoken) – Strong grammar, vocabulary, and legal writing skills (Spoken & written Arabic is an added advantage).
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with legal document formatting and case management software.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive legal matters.
Previous minimum 4 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal.
Familiarity with legal terminology, and document filing.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Experience with legal transcription and dictation.
