The Role:
We are in search of a Bankruptcy Legal Assistant that will assist the Bankruptcy team with all applicable legal matters. This is a Fully Remote role, but candidates must live within the state of Florida, Texas, Georgia or Tennessee.
What You’ll Do:
Work closely with large servicer clients in Chapter 7, 11 & 13 bankruptcy matters.
Monitoring and completing daily task list.
Reviewing and analyzing PACER and documents such as bankruptcy plans, proof of claims, payment change notices, and transfer of claims.
Preparing and filing of bankruptcy documents such as proof of claims, payment change notices, MFRs, PPFNs, Objection to Plans, and transfer of claims.
Reviewing of payment histories and trustee ledgers
Other tasks as needed to assist the department
What You’ll Need:
At least two years of bankruptcy experience required. Bankruptcy experience with lenders and mortgage services preferred.
Knowledge of the bankruptcy process. Specific jurisdiction knowledge for GA, FL, and/or TN a plus.
Knowledge of PACER and ECF systems required.
Experience with filing documents on ECF required.
Experience with client internal systems used in default servicing a plus.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work as needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
