Position Overview:

Successful law firm is searching for an experienced bilingual individual who excels in customer relations and understands the pivotal role as the first point of contact for our clients. An Intake Specialist’s mission is to make customers feel comfortable immediately and initiate a positive experience with us. This initial interaction sets the tone for our client’s journey and is crucial to our company’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction: Handle a high volume of incoming calls from clients with professionalism and empathy. Make the introduction call to the client on behalf of the firm and send a welcoming email, initiating a positive client experience. Gather necessary information to understand the client’s legal issue and direct calls to the appropriate attorney or legal team.

Evidence Gathering: Collect evidence such as police reports, photographs of injuries, property damage, and more, to organize this information for the legal team’s use. Obtain and document witness statements to support the client’s case. Schedule initial doctor appointments for clients ensuring they receive the necessary medical care.

Data Entry: Open claims on behalf of clients to initiate the legal process. Accurately record and maintain detailed client information and case details and ensure that all client data is up-to-date and properly organized.

Follow-Up: Facilitate an excellent follow-up process to ensure clients are kept informed of the status of their case. Facilitate direct communication with the insurance, sending necessary forms, assisting with property damage, while maintaining communication with clients throughout their journey with the firm.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff members to provide a smooth transition of cases from intake to representation. Communicate client needs and expectations effectively.

Client Relations: Maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality when interacting with clients. Ensure a positive client experience and represent the firm’s values at all times.

Grassroots Marketing: Periodically engage in grassroots marketing efforts, utilizing personal and professional networks to promote the firm’s services. Identify potential referral sources, build relationships, and foster awareness of The Berman Law Group within your community.

Qualifications:

Must be bilingual, speaking spanish fluently with no software assistance (no grammarly or translation apps)
Previous experience in a legal intake role or similar customer service role is preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of inquiries and tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism when dealing with clients.
Proficiency in data entry and the use of case management software.
Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
Strong follow-up skills to ensure potential clients are effectively and consistently engaged.

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
