About the Position:
We are looking to hire an attorney to join our firm and help support our existing Virginia client base with extensive document review and production. The position will require the attorney to personally appear in court to handle the high volume dockets in multiple jurisdictions surrounding the Richmond, Va area. This will typically involve uncontested and contested General District Court cases, but may involve appeals to Circuit Court. Virtual help with internal document review, evictions support, bad debt recovery, minor lease reviews and revisions, drafting legal documents and pleadings, and responding to clients’ questions by email and telephone is expected. But, the attorney will need to occasionally report to our corporate office in Hampton, Va to assist as well.
To Be Considered:
Candidates must be currently admitted to practice law in Virginia, but we do not have any minimum required experience level or require any particular familiarity with residential landlord-tenant law. We are, however, absolutely committed to finding the right attorney candidate to ‘get on the bus’ with us!
