The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Legal Rankings & Awards Specialist role to join the marketing team at a top DC law firm. The Specialist will write and edit a wide array of marketing materials to best position the firm, attorneys, and practice groups in industry publications and the news. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with marketing experience who is looking to continue to grow in a law firm setting.
Responsibilities Include:
Draft award nominations, editorial submissions, and news releases
Collaborate with marketing team on legal directory submissions
Write, review and edit content for award nominations
Keep track of deadlines, nomination results, and update the team
Research new opportunities for legal directory and legal awards
Coordinate with a variety of legal publications specifically with awards and nominations
Assist with other media relations and communications projects
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
3+ years of marketing or public relations experience
Law firm experience strongly preferred
Ability to communicate with attorneys, media, and other professionals
Strong writing and editing skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
