We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This role is essential in supporting our attorneys with administrative tasks, ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry and maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents.
Assist attorneys with project management tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for attorneys.
Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for cases.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with legal standards.
Provide general administrative support as needed to facilitate the daily operations of the law firm.

Requirements

Being bilingual in Portuguese or Spanish is required.
Proficient in data entry and file management practices.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
