We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our team. This hybrid position offers flexibility to work remotely while requiring some regular in-office or on-site presence. The ideal candidate will have expertise in land use, real estate law, condominium creation, HOA governing documents, property subdivision, attached/detached accessory dwelling units (AADUs/DADUs), and other middle housing products. Experience in project entitlement and permitting preferred. Candidates must have an active Washington State Bar license and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Draft and review legal documents for subdivisions, condominiums, and HOAs.
Draft and analyze easements, covenants, and relinquishments.
Counsel clients regarding land use and zoning/building code matters, real estate transactions, and real estate development.
Advise on AADU/DADU development and compliance with Washington laws.
Conduct due diligence, including title review and resolving encumbrances.
Collaborate with clients, governmental agencies, project consultants, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
JD degree and active Washington State Bar membership in good standing.
Strong knowledge of Washington real estate and land use laws.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment.
Self-starter, highly proactive in project/client management.
