Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our medical malpractice defense and general liability litigation law firm. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research, writing skills, along with the ability to handle depositions and all phases of litigation in the areas of negligence and medical malpractice.
Duties
Conduct legal research Westlaw
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, appellate briefs
Appear for court conferences, handle depositions, oral argument on motions
Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in NY
Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred, particularly in defense litigation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
