2. About the Opportunity:
The Legal Operations Specialist role is focused on enhancing the effectiveness of clients'' legal departments by designing and implementing strategic operational improvements. This position is responsible for managing legal operations processes, evaluating and integrating contract lifecycle management (CLM) and AI tools, and coordinating projects that increase the efficiency and capabilities of legal teams. The role plays a key part in driving operational excellence and innovation within client legal departments.
3. Responsibilities:
• Manage and map client legal operations processes.
• Design and implement new process roadmaps.
• Evaluate and assist clients in selecting CLM tools including Ironclad, Agiloft, ContractPod, and Luminance.
• Implement AI tools and promote their use within legal teams.
• Develop and maintain resource materials on operational processes.
• Improve contracting systems by developing and uploading templates.
• Support project coordination and process management activities.
4. Requirements:
• Over 10 years of experience in legal operations optimizing in-house workflows.
• Knowledge of legal department KPIs.
• Experience in budget and spend management, including e-billing.
• Expertise in CLM implementation.
• Experience with AI technologies.
• Proficient in software implementation and integrating new systems.
• Strong background with legal operations technology.
• Preferred experience with the CLM tool Luminance.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Estimated total compensation for similar full-time roles ranges from $71,250 to $309,750 per year.
• Compensation is based on factors including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
