Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Associate Attorney to join our Probate & Estate Planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newer attorney or recent law school graduate with a strong interest in trusts, estates, and elder law to gain hands-on experience and long-term growth within a well-established firm.
Responsibilities
Assist with probate proceedings, trust administration, and estate planning
Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, and pleadings
Attend court hearings and client meetings with senior attorneys
Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, courts, and colleagues
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member of the California State Bar (or pending bar results)
0–3 years of legal experience (internships or clerkships in probate or estate law preferred)
Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
Professional demeanor and client-service mindset
Interest in building a long-term career in probate and estate planning
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with elderly clients or families in sensitive situations
Knowledge of California probate procedures and estate tax laws
Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
