We seek an applicant who desires to meet with clients who rely on the firm for legal advice and estate planning design. An experienced attorney with the ability and desire to enhance the estate planning group through personality, effort, and know-how will thrive in this position. General Requirements:
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas, although we shall strongly consider a highly qualified applicant who can be timely admitted to the Texas Bar
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
Positive attitude and easy-going personal skills that support communication with paralegals, attorneys and clients in a fast-paced legal setting
Established time management, project management, and document drafting/review skills
Clearly convey complex concepts and manage multiple files
Competence and confidence to take initiative on client matters to ensure that timing and quality of work exceed expectations
Position:
Attorney with 3-5 years of broad experience in general estate planning transactions.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Frequent and direct contact with clients regarding a full spectrum of estate planning transaction services involving basic to advance estate planning documents (A/B GST, ILIT, IDGT,
SLAT, POAs, Will vs. RLT, GRATs, FLP, etc.)
Prepare and generally counsel clients regarding estate planning and asset protection.
Prepare and supervise probate documents, attend non-contested probate hearings, and handle all aspects of funding
Opportunity and coaching to become a true rainmaker; present and market business and tax planning concepts via white papers and speaking events
Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary business transaction and estate planning team that focuses on delivering business opportunities, wealth transfer, and succession guidance to clients
Salary:
$125,000+
