We are looking for a proactive Legal Manager with over 5 years of experience in commercial law, especially in SaaS environments. Your main responsibilities include drafting and negotiating customer contracts, supporting international teams, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations like CCPA and PIPEDA. You’ll also guide the modernization of our legal function by implementing legal technologies and partnerships across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate SaaS agreements and NDAs
• Collaborate with Sales for efficient deal execution
• Develop negotiation playbooks and contract templates
• Advise on privacy compliance frameworks
• Conduct legal risk assessments for AI regulations
Requirements:
• Law degree and qualification in Canada or similar
• 5/7+ years in commercial law
• Negotiation experience in B2B contracts
• Knowledge of privacy regulations like CCPA
• Fluent in English and preferably French
