We are a Real Estate Firm having various residential and commercial projects in Mumbai. We are looking for a Legal Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:.
● Draft and review contracts including Sale Deed, LOI, Development Agreement, Demand Letters, Receipts, Memorandum of Understanding, Undertakings, etc.
● Handling of entire Real Estate Transactions including structuring and documentation.
● Conducting due diligence and title investigations for properties to be acquired by the organization and advising on local land laws with respect to the same.
● Advising on legal issues and regulatory concerns including acquisitions, disposition of real estate, land use, zoning issues, raising finances, project development, redevelopment.
● Ability to demonstrate strong negotiation and advocacy skills and hands on experience in negotiations on commercial/ legal clauses in contracts.
● Coordinating with other teams and departments to provide a wholesome advice to clients on real estate deals.
● Handling contract disputes, including coordinating in dispute resolution.
● To prepare all kind of deeds & documents/agreements.
● Should be well versed with local laws, RERA, MCGM Act, MAHADA, TOPA, etc.
● Should have knowledge of Redevelopment of society, BMC compliance, Society formation, etc.
Requirements :
● Bachelor’s degree in law.
● A minimum of 7+ years’ experience as a real estate or civil lawyer.
● Must have over seven years of experience with the non – litigation team of a law firm/in house and have working knowledge of Maharashtra Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016
● Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
● Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
● Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
