Working Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 AM – 05:30 PM); Saturday (08:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
Work Location: 555 3 Thang 2 Street, Ward 8, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
I. Job Responsibilities
1. Legal Advisory
- Provide legal advice to the Board of Directors, Legal Manager, and other departments to control and minimize legal risks in all company decisions and operations.
2. Compliance Management
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs in accordance with applicable laws, internal policies, and company regulations.
- Monitor, research, and summarize new legal regulations; assess their impact and recommend implementation plans to the Board of Directors and Legal Manager.
- Coordinate legal training and awareness programs for internal departments.
- Prepare reports on legal risks arising from the company’s operations.
3. Legal Documentation & Contract Review
- Review and assess contracts and legal documents drafted by Legal Officers.
- Participate in negotiations and discussions with business partners within the authorized scope.
- Develop and manage standardized contract templates and legal documentation systems.
4. Licensing & Government Relations
- Supervise and manage all business licenses and industry-specific permits of the company, including those related to pharmacies, clinics, cosmetics, textiles, and other business activities.
- Provide guidance on new applications, renewals, amendments, and regulatory procedures.
- Represent the company in dealings with government authorities within the authorized scope.
5. Dispute Resolution & Litigation
- Advise on legal strategies for disputes arising from business operations.
- Represent the company in mediation, litigation, or coordinate with external legal counsel when required.
- Guide and supervise Legal Officers in handling legal disputes.
6. Legal Department Operations & Team Development
- Develop departmental work plans and oversee implementation.
- Train, mentor, and develop legal team members.
- Monitor team performance and ensure effective execution of assigned responsibilities.
7. Legal Records Management
- Supervise the storage, maintenance, confidentiality, and access control of legal records, documents, and files.
- Ensure legal documentation is properly organized, secure, and easily retrievable.
8. Process Improvement & Team Development
- Develop legal department workflows, procedures, and operational plans.
- Continuously enhance the capabilities and professional development of legal personnel.
II. Job Requirements
1. Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law or University of Economics and Law.
- Lawyer Practicing Certificate is preferred.
2. Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate legal affairs, including at least 1–2 years in a team management role.
- Experience in FMCG, Retail, Healthcare/Clinic, or E-commerce industries is highly preferred.
3. Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, investment law, international commercial contracts, advertising regulations, healthcare regulations, cosmetics regulations, and e-commerce laws.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, strategic planning, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong drafting, contract review, legal advisory, and dispute resolution skills.
- Good command of English.
