DESCRIBE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Perform tasks assigned by the General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, and Counsel. Research law sources such as statutes and judicial decisions and write memorandums.
Review, research and write draft responses to customer complaints. Keep track of and makechecklist for U.S. state privacy law legislation.
Review and prepare first drafts of agreements as assigned, including for example, sponsorship, licensing, consulting, release, confidentiality and vendor agreements based on existing forms.
Review marketing and advertising materials to analyze compliance with the FTC regulations, trademark and other laws.
Proof agreements and other documentation for accuracy Attend and prepare proposed defenses for small claims matters.
Ancillary responsibilities:
All other duties as required or needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Proficient in Microsoft Word
Working knowledge of Excel
Working knowledge of Westlaw
