Location: Fully Remote, Work from Home (including during training)
Starting Pay: $15.05 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm EST

What you will be doing as a Remote Appeals Clerk:
Become an expert on our Case Management Software, Adobe, and Microsoft Office that you will be using daily.
Because we want what’s best for you and our clients, we train you to have a clear understanding of the Veterans Affairs (VA) Claims Process within your first month of employment.
Documentation is essential to win a client’s claim! You will understand and be able to use each VA Appeal form to make sure all information needed is included on each and every appeal filed.
Our firm files appeals when unfavorable decisions have been made on certain cases. We will teach you how to read and understand all types of decisions.
We always want our clients to be in the know! Once you have learned all about decisions, you will be able to communicate and explain a decision and appeal thoroughly to the clients.
We are extremely goal oriented at our firm. To ensure you’re meeting all goals and deadlines, you will have and prioritize your task list to complete daily.

Now you might be wondering about the pay? The Appeals Specialist’s starting pay rate is $15.05 per hour. For this position, you receive a performance appraisal EVERY SIX MONTHS! That’s right! You will always know how you’re doing with your performance. And do you know what else? If you score well on your performance review, you will get a 41 to 72 cent increase every 6 months until you reach the cap of the pay range.
