Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations by managing our probate and guardianship cases, drafting and filing legal documents, managing case calendars and schedules, managing client communication related to cases, and other matters that may arise.

This position requires strong communication skills, organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities
– Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
– Proofread documents to ensure clarity and correctness.
– Manage office correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
– Provide clerical support by organizing files, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
– Assist in client support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
– Utilize Google Suite and law firm project management software.
– Maintain an organized workspace to enhance productivity.
– Support office management tasks as needed.

Requirements
– Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
– Strong proofreading skills to ensure error-free documentation.
– Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
