Personal Injury firm in Parsippany looking to hire an experienced paralegal or law clerk. Candidates must have at least two years in the personal injury law field. Must be able to multitask, have excellent computer and organizational skills and able to meet critical deadlines. Candidates who can speak fluently in another language please indicate same.
CANDIDATES WITH NO EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Specific daily tasks include the following and candidates must be able to:
· Draft correspondence;
· Draft pleadings and motions;
· Draft initial discovery demands and responses;
· Review and summarize medical records received from providers;
· Prepare files for depositions, hearings and trials;
· Electronic filing on both the state and federal level;
· Monitor discovery end dates and other critical deadlines;
· Assist with settlement negotiations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
