About The Role
We need a Legal Head to handle contracts, deals, disputes, and IP for the company. The role works
closely with founders and leadership. We’re looking for someone who gives clear advice, closes deals
quickly, manages disputes well, and can build a small legal team.
Key Responsibilities
Business Advisory
Advise founders and leadership on the legal side of business decisions
Give clear, practical advice on time
Spot risks early, before decisions are made, not after
Transactions
Lead the legal work on investments, partnerships, and restructuring
Structure deals so they don’t lead to disputes later
Move quickly on important, time-sensitive deals
Commercial Contracts
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts
Close contracts faster without taking on extra risk
Create templates and playbooks so the team isn’t dependent on one person
Litigation & Disputes
Handle litigation and disputes from start to finish
Push for early settlement when it makes business sense
Weigh the cost of litigation against what’s actually at stake
IP, Compliance & Team
Manage trademarks and other IP, including enforcement
Make sure the company follows applicable laws and internal policy
Give real-time legal support for live events
Manage a team of legal professionals reporting directly into this role
Build and mentor the legal team so we rely less on outside lawyers
Must-Have Qualifications
LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university
8 12 years in commercial contracts, litigation, and in-house legal roles, with some team leadership
Experience
Experience leading deals, restructurings, or fund-raise/IPO prep
Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills
Good litigation and dispute resolution experience
IP management experience, including enforcement
Comfortable working directly with founders and leadership on high-pressure deals
Experience building or leading a legal team
Start-up Or Fast-paced Event Industry Experience Preferred
Understands event risks like cancellations, refunds, and liability
Good to Have
Artist agreements, tour contracts, sponsorship deals
Exposure to ticketing platforms, promoters, or production houses
Arbitration or dispute handling experience
IP licensing and brand collaboration experience
Cross-border or UAE legal experience
