The role
As a Applied Legal Researcher and one of our foundational hires, you will play a pivotal role in shaping this transformation and our company. This is a chance to solve deeply challenging problems at the application layer of AI, and make a real, tangible impact for our users.
We are looking for a legal researcher with a strong understanding of how large firms and other organizations deliver professional services and execute complex legal and knowledge work tasks.
What You’ll Focus On
Develop and deliver subject-matter expertise to support AI research
Work closely with our customers and technical founding team to ensure AI tools align with client workflows and address real needs, enabling seamless adoption
Tackle unsolved AI problems to solve complex professional service tasks
Prompt engineering and fine-tuning of large language models
What We’re Looking For
You have 2-5 years of experience at a mid to large size law firm
You are either a native Dutch speaker or have at least a C-level proficiency
You have the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams, communicating complex ideas clearly and engaging stakeholders at all levels
You are comfortable working within a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment where challenges and priorities evolve rapidly
A genuine interest in exploring how AI can transform knowledge work, particularly in the legal sector
Willingness and desire to do the work needed to improve our platform (e.g., evaluating hundreds of answers, breaking down thousands of documents in a detailed way)
