Zycus is looking for a Legal Executive to join its Corporate Legal team, supporting commercial contracting, AI governance, and global compliance functions.
Qualification: LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university
Experience: 1–3 years of post-qualification experience (candidates with relevant internship exposure may also be considered)
Key Responsibilities
- Support the review, drafting, negotiation and redlining of commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, SOWs, DPAs and related customer, vendor and partner agreements across multiple jurisdictions
- Review and respond to legal, compliance and contractual requirements in RFPs, RFQs and customer procurement documentation
- Conduct legal research on international laws, technology laws, data privacy regulations, e-commerce laws and intellectual property matters impacting the Company’s global operations
- Assess new technologies, software products and AI solutions to identify applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and prepare compliance matrices and control mappings
- Support AI-driven legal operations, including management of legal AI assistants, prompt libraries, and validation of AI-generated outputs
- Coordinate with external Company Secretaries and legal advisors on corporate secretarial and statutory compliance matters
- Prepare legal playbooks, guidance notes and training materials on employment law, commercial contracting, AI governance, privacy and compliance
- Conduct legal awareness sessions for HR, Sales, Procurement and other business teams
- Monitor regulatory developments and recommend appropriate compliance measures
- Provide day-to-day legal support to stakeholders across regions and time zones
Candidate Requirements
- Exposure to commercial contracting, international laws, technology laws, data privacy or intellectual property law is preferred
- Strong interest in emerging technologies, Generative AI, AI governance and legal technology
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for legal research, drafting and summarization
- Strong legal research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Legal, Sales, Procurement, HR, Product and Engineering functions
- High standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
