Our esteemed client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking a Legal Executive cum Personal Assistant to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Position: Legal Executive cum Personal Assistant
- Location: Johor Bahru (Ulu Tiram)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm
- Salary Package: Basic + Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft, prepare, and file affidavits; ensure strict compliance with local Court Rules and submission formats; and represent or attend court mentions on behalf of the Principal as required.
- Manage the lodgment of Caveats for security loans and handle property-related matters, including conducting site visits.
- Oversee share transfer submissions and secure necessary approvals.
- Provide strategic advice to ensure all business operations align seamlessly with the Companies Act, Banking & Finance Act, and other relevant regulatory/licensee conditions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
- Handle intellectual property-related matters
- Manage the Principal’s calendar, travel arrangements, and appointments
- Handle confidential correspondence and communications
- Coordinate meetings with clients and support other administrative priorities
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal role
- Strong working knowledge of local Court procedures, affidavit preparation, caveat lodgment, and legal search processes.
- Familiarity with both Malaysia and Singapore’s Companies Act, as well as Banking and Finance regulations.
