JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Legal Advisory
- Provide legal advice and support to the Board of Directors and internal departments (Operations,
- Marketing, HR, Finance, IT, Purchasing, etc.) on day-to-day business operations.
- Monitor, research, update and communicate new laws and regulations relating to retail, FMCG,
- commercial activities, investment, labour, advertising, personal data protection, food safety and other relevant legal matters.
- Identify and assess legal risks and recommend practical solutions to ensure the Company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Drafting, Reviewing and Managing Legal Documents
- Draft, review, negotiate and provide legal advice on contracts, agreements, official correspondence, notices, decisions, internal regulations, policies, procedures, minutes, legal opinions and other legal documents required for the Company’s business operations.
- Review the legal validity and compliance of documents prior to issuance or execution.
- Participate in negotiating legal terms and conditions with customers, suppliers, business partners and other relevant parties.
- Maintain and archive legal documents and records in accordance with the Company’s policies.
3. Legal Compliance and Licensing
- Handle legal procedures relating to the Company, branches, business locations and licences required for the Company’s operations.
- Liaise with government authorities in relation to licensing applications, inspections, audits and other administrative procedures.
- Monitor and support the implementation of the Company’s compliance
4. Dispute Resolution
- Assist in handling disputes, claims and complaints involving customers, business partners, suppliers and government authorities.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and professional advisors in resolving disputes and legal matters when required.
5. Other Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, reviewing and updating internal policies, procedures and governance documents to strengthen the Company’s legal and compliance framework.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Legal Manager and BOD
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, (Preference will be given to candidates who graduated from: HLU, Vietnam National University, ULAW, UEL).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Legal Executive or in a similar legal position.
- Male candidates with prior experience in the FMCG, retail, supermarket chain, or convenience store industry will be given preference.
- Previous experience working for a foreign-invested enterprise (FDI) or in an international working environment is preferred.
- Experience in providing legal advice, reviewing and drafting legal documents, handling corporate legal and licensing matters, and supporting the expansion of retail store networks will be considered an advantage.
Professional Knowledge
- Sound knowledge of the Law on Enterprises, Commercial Law, Civil Code, Labour Code, Advertising Law, and other applicable laws and regulations relating to the retail and FMCG industries.
- Strong legal research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply legal requirements to business operations.

- Proficient in conducting legal research using online legal databases and digital research tools.
- Good command of spoken and written English, with the ability to draft and review contracts, legal documents, and communicate effectively in English in a professional working environment.
