Job description:
Leading technology company is seeking Legal Engineer to support the modernization and optimization of its legal department through technology and AI-enabled solutions. This role will serve as a bridge between Legal, Legal Operations, IT, Security, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement scalable technology solutions that enhance efficiency, collaboration, and compliance across the legal function.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a blend of legal operations experience, technical aptitude, systems implementation expertise, and strong stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Legal and Legal Operations teams to identify workflow inefficiencies and implement technology-driven solutions.
- Help evaluate, deploy, configure, and optimize AI tools and legal technology platforms across the legal department.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure proper system integrations, user permissions, governance, and compliance standards are established.
- Support implementation and adoption of AI-enabled workflows for areas such as contract review, knowledge management, document automation, intake processes, and legal research.
- Assist with vendor evaluation, proof-of-concept testing, and ongoing management of legal tech tools and platforms.
- Create scalable processes, documentation, training materials, and best practices for legal technology usage.
- Monitor emerging trends in legal AI and legal operations technology and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a technical resource and strategic partner to internal legal stakeholders.
