Job Description
Partner with senior leadership to align legal strategies with business objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance without hindering growth.
Provide strategic legal guidance on corporate initiatives, including M&A, partnerships, investments, and business expansion.
Establish and enhance the group’s overseas legal affairs management system by formulating legal risk control policies and procedures tailored to the company’s international operations. Drive the creation and review of regulations related to global business expansion.
Drive corporate governance initiatives, ensuring best practices in board management, shareholder relations, and corporate structure optimization.
Oversee key commercial agreements, joint ventures, and high-value transactions, ensuring they align with business objectives and risk tolerance.
Support negotiations of strategic deals, financing arrangements, and intellectual property-related matters.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and above in law, must hold a legal professional qualification certificate from Mainland China (for Shanghai location) or Thailand (for Bangkok location)
10+ years of experience in corporate law, business strategy, and/or governance, especially with strong knowledge of international legal matters, with a strong preference for candidates from multinational corporations or regulated industries.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken), with fluent Mandarin additionally required for Shanghai location
Proven track record of advising senior executives and board members on legal and business matters.
Exceptional ability to balance legal risk with business pragmatism in a fast-paced environment.
