Key Responsibilities
Data Governance & Program Management
- Lead data governance initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, standards, and operating procedures.
- Drive governance programs that improve data quality, consistency, accessibility, and accountability.
- Monitor adherence to governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders across business and technology teams to establish data stewardship practices.
- Facilitate communication, training, and adoption of governance standards throughout the organization.
- Promote a culture of data ownership and accountability.
Compliance & Controls
- Support compliance initiatives by ensuring appropriate governance controls are established and maintained.
- Provide guidance on document control processes and governance-related activities.
- Assist with audit readiness and regulatory reporting requirements.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze data quality trends and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support reporting and visualization initiatives that enable informed decision-making.
- Leverage data management tools and platforms to improve governance effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing data governance, data management, analytics, or related projects.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience working within supply chain, procurement, planning, quality, or related operational functions.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- Project Management certification (PMP or similar).
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, Python, Alteryx, or similar analytical tools.
- Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of data visualization platforms including Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and information security best practices.
