We are working with a luxury fashion house, who are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Legal Counsel to support a broad range of legal matters, with a particular focus on digital, technology, and e-commerce. This is a varied role that will evolve with business needs and offers the opportunity to work closely with teams across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts across digital, e-commerce, SaaS, software, marketing, logistics, franchise, and vendor-related matters.
Providing legal support on general commercial issues including procurement, distribution, supply chain, and data protection.
Contributing to compliance and governance projects, offering clear, business-focused legal guidance.
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and delivering practical, solution-oriented advice.
Identifying and mitigating legal risk to support commercial objectives.
Requirements:
English law qualified lawyer, with the equivalent of approximately 3 to 4 years PQE (indicative only) with experience gained at a reputable law firm.
Experience in digital, technology, supply chain, or compliance is highly desirable.
Will have specialised in commercial law upon qualification
Will be able to operate with minimum supervision and in direct contact with internal clients;
Will be starting to build a track record in working autonomously, managing complex matters, prioritising competing demands and dealing directly with a wide variety of business stakeholders
