About the job Legal Counsel | Technology Company | HK
Our client, a leading telco company is hiring a commercial lawyer to provide legal support across daily operations and new initiatives. The role ensures compliance with local laws and company policies, with a focus on telco and privacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts
- Advise on legal matters across business functions
- Ensure regulatory compliance, especially in telco and data privacy
- Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and industry bodies
- Manage legal risks and monitor regulatory changes
- Handle disputes and ad-hoc legal projects
- Ensure legal documents align with business and product needs
About You
- 8-12 years PQE, qualified solicitor in Hong Kong
- Experience in private practice or in-house legal teams
- Knowledge of HK telecom, IP, data privacy, and PRC tech regulations preferred
- Fluency in English, Chinese, and Putonghua is essential
- Commercial mindset, analytical, and adaptable under pressure
