Legal Counsel, Supply Chain Jobs in Costa Mesa, CA at Anduril Industries
This position is responsible for providing support to the legal department in the day-to-day administrative office activities. Assists in the maintenance of the documentation of legal papers and electronic internal database system to ensure rapid retrieval of critical information. Conducts filling, data gathering and proof-reading activities for facilitating the legal work.
Essential Functions:
Assists the Chief Legal Officer and other legal staff with scheduling agenda meetings, calls, appointments and travel arrangements.
Drafts simple documents, letters, corporate and board documents.
Conducts legal and non-legal research or search for references.
Maintains an up-to-date internal contracts database.
Assists in the maintenance of the legal files both electronic and paper.
Responsible for managing invoices from consultants and outside counsel and ensuring adequate payment.
Prepares and follow up requisitions for department materials.
Handles telephone calls and messages.
Copy, scan and file.
Efficient in taking and transcribing meeting minutes.
Coordinates smalls events, such as board meeting, and related activities.
Participates in meetings and orientations.
Execute any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Sciences, or similar.
The position requires three (3) years of related experience.
Paralegal studies or experience preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and oral.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Ability to adapt easily to change.
Ability to maintain confidential data.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work with a goal-oriented operation.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
