Your new company
We have been mandated by a globally recognised business solutions and consumer product provider to recruit a Legal Counsel, supporting the expansion of its IT solutions and managed services business across the region.
Your new role
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements and corporate documentation.
- Act as a trusted legal advisor to business teams across Hong Kong and the PRC
- Provide guidance on legal, regulatory, compliance, and risk-related matters.
- Advise on data privacy, AI, ESG, IP, employment, and other business-critical topics.
- Support governance, company secretarial, and policy-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on strategic projects and legal matters.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Hong Kong qualified lawyer with 4-8 years’ PQE, gained in private practice and/or an in-house environment
- Strong experience in commercial contracts, regulatory advisory, compliance, and business-facing legal support.
- Exposure to technology, fintech, data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, ESG, and PRC-related matters would be advantageous.
- GBA legal qualification and China-related experience are highly desirable.
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365, AI-powered tools, and modern legal technologies.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
