Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of litigation processes and be skilled in various aspects of legal support. This role involves assisting attorneys in preparing for trials, managing case files, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures. The Litigation Paralegal will play a crucial role in the success of our practice by providing essential support throughout the litigation process.
Duties
Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation and trial support.
Conduct thorough document review and legal research to support case development.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Manage case files and maintain organized records for easy access and retrieval.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Coordinate project management tasks related to litigation timelines and deadlines.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly in the area of securities law.
Provide clerical support as needed, including filing documents with the court and maintaining calendars.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field; paralegal certification is preferred.
Proven experience in litigation support or as a paralegal with a strong understanding of legal processes.
Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail in document preparation.
Familiarity with legal case management software and tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Knowledge of securities law is a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
