Proactively advising on privacy impact assessments and regulatory requirements will be a key part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice on privacy laws and industry regulations
• Support responses to regulatory inquiries and compliance frameworks
• Assist in managing privacy incidents and legal obligations
• Review privacy-related documentation and communications
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree
• 5+ years of legal experience in privacy law
• Certification in privacy (CIPP/C, CIPP/US, etc.) preferred
• Strong knowledge of Canadian privacy legislation
• Experience working in highly regulated industries
