As Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel, Lending you’ll help shape Canada’s most complex and strategic financial initiatives, including major infrastructure, energy, airlines, technology/communications, and Indigenous economic reconciliation projects. You’ll be advising on headline-making deals—think multi-billion-dollar structured financings, M&A, and more—while working alongside a dynamic, mission-driven team and executive leadership.
What you’ll do:
Lead and support major lending transactions, investments, and divestitures
Advise on cutting-edge legal and commercial matters
Collaborate with top-tier professionals across government and private sectors
Influence projects that directly impact Canada’s economic future
What we’re looking for:
8+ years of transactional legal experience (lending/structured finance/M&A/ corporate/commercial)
Strong business judgment and a passion for solving complex legal challenges
